This image has some simularities with "Love of God", as far as the imageof terrorism.
The young, idealistic members of the extraparliamentary opposition,who joined the RAF
really fell foul of their own blue eyen naivity, which, in the end,cost most of them their lives,
as they went head-on into armed resistance. They left a trail of destruction,and in the end
achieved little. They did, however, leave a good set of iconic imageson the wanted posters
all over Germany. The paintings have been deliberately left rough,hence the name.
