This image has been a struggle to produce. The prisoner number of anAuschwitz survivor,
who I have contacted to ask for permission to use his number. LeonGreenman did not ask to have his number
tattooed,so I made a decision to break my rules of never asking beforestealing an image. We had a really nice
conversation on the phone, and I got his book, "An Englishman in Auschwitz",available through Amazon.
Considering my Nationality, my own family history, a piece that hasno humour at all, but portrays the
Human Spirit surviving, somehow, the nastyness inflicted by one's ownbrothers.
